The list below covers most places where you can stay and do daily wellness activities including yoga. They are many and varied in style and budget. The list below also covers Teach Training in a retreat style scenario but the larger yoga centres in Ubud all do international standard teacher training programs (usually 200 -300 hours). Take a look at the post for yoga in Ubud in the link below this article.
Difference between an Ashram and a Retreat
A retreat covers physical wellness in a holiday-style break from your real life. They may include spiritual and emotional wellness programs. Ashram comes from the Sanskrit word for religious exertion and it is meant to be a sacred space for religious teachings and spiritual practice. Meditation and yoga are likely to be part of both options, with the Ashram being stricter in its interpretations and expectations, and likely quite austere.

These all-inclusive places are easy, but you might consider a more cost effective option of staying in a hotel in town (here is a list) and choosing daily plans at one of the many yoga shalas in Ubud - a more self-guided retreat for the experienced traveller. Click on the attached article for a list of yoga shalas. Many of these have 1- 3- and 5- day programs anyway. The upside is that you have a little more freedom in your program choice, and could potentially scive off to enjoy the other (potentially less healthy) delights of Ubud.
There are lots of hotels and resorts that offer wellness packages and/or free yoga which aren't included here; cheap and cheerful Honey Guesthouse, a mid level option like Swasti Eco Cottages, and the more fancy ones include Como Shambhala, Sankara, Four Seasons and Maya Resort.
